Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Senior Director of Next-Gen Data Architecture to lead a global data ecosystem and shape enterprise data foundations. You will guide a CoE, mentor senior architects, and drive modern platforms for large-scale operations across manufacturing, retail, and supply chains.

You will partner with executives and engineering leaders to implement scalable graph ontologies, AI-infused data engineering, and robust APIs while maintaining enterprise governance and standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and advanced analytics, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Architect Leadership: Hiring, managing, and mentoring senior technical talent across Enterprise Data Architects and engineers.
• CoE & Governance: Experience leading a Center of Excellence or enterprise governance.
• Executive Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for executives.

Responsibilities

• Center of Excellence Enablement: provide architectural guidance, reference architectures, and support for data engineers and analysts.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: direct, mentor, and develop a team of data architects with a culture of excellence.
• Next-Generation Data Architecture: design and implement modern data platforms and engineering frameworks for large-scale needs.
• Knowledge Graphs & Ontologies: develop graph-based data solutions and semantic models across the enterprise.
• AI-Driven Data Engineering: apply AI/automation to the data lifecycle from design to operations.
• API & Knowledge Layer Strategy: define scalable APIs and knowledge layers for trusted data access.
• Streaming and Real-Time Data Platforms: build real-time capabilities for event-driven processing and operational intelligence.
• Developer Productivity: improve tooling and governance to accelerate delivery.
