Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Director of S&E Project Management Neuroscience to ensure seamless cross-functional execution of TA-aligned strategies, in partnership with TA Leads and teams.

You will guide active diligences, manage governance, and collaborate with external partners and internal experts across neuroscience programs. Strong scientific expertise and deal governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (PhD, MBA, PharmD).
• 8+ years with a Bachelor’s, 6+ with a Master’s, 4+ with a PhD in pharma/biotech or related field.
• 5–7+ years in pharma industry drug development or business development.
• Experience in neuroscience research, strategy or diligence preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership and communication skills.
• Hybrid role with at least 3 days onsite in AbbVie offices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Search and Evaluation lead for all active diligences.
• Coordinate activities and deliverables as a core team member.
• Contribute to cross-functional discussions from program management and strategic perspectives.
• Lead cross-functional diligences with external partners and internal experts.
• Identify, communicate, and manage risks across the deal portfolio.
• Structure discussions to enable effective decision-making and governance.
