Job summary

TDS Telecom in Chicago and across its locations seeks a Director-Network Service Management and Operations Center of Excellence to lead strategy and execution for end-to-end network service delivery, with a strong focus on automation and operational excellence.

The role oversees lifecycle from qualification to activation, partners with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable services, and aligns with business priorities and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience.
• 8+ years' experience with increasing levels of responsibility in application development and/or technology management.
• 4+ years' experience leading projects.
• 5+ years management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Technology Leadership: oversee performance of multiple managers and teams and align with stakeholders.
• Technical Execution: ensure delivery and support of all applications/technologies with proper lifecycle management.
• IT Director team contribution: align practices with business strategy and maintain IT culture across teams.
• Vendor Management: oversee third-party resources and ensure adherence to standards.
