Job summary

Sapulpa Public Schools seeks a Director of Indian Education to lead all Indian education programs and staff, reporting to the Superintendent and designees. The role oversees federal grant administration, staff supervision, and coordination with Title VI and JOM committees to improve student achievement.

Immediate start; 12-month exempt position; education degree preferred and teaching/admin certification considered. Salary based on the current district salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; teaching or admin cert preferred but not required.
• Leadership experience in district or building site roles preferred.
• Native American preference per district guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation and supervision of Indian education programs.
• Coordinate federal grant programs with measurable goals and budgets.
• Act as liaison between school and Native American communities and committees.
• Supervise Indian education personnel and coordinate with school principals.
• Ensure records and compliance with district, state, and federal policies.
