Sierra Space is seeking a Director, Business Development for National Security Space (NSS) to lead enterprise growth and build a multi‑million to billion‑dollar pipeline by guiding capture campaigns and strategic partnerships.

The role liaises with DoD, USSF, and the IC, overseeing substantial budgets and driving transformational change in how the organization identifies and secures defense contracts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience with significant experience in senior leadership roles.
• Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management skills with demonstrated success in managing significant budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Build out and manage a comprehensive NSS capture strategy and tactical business plan.
• Maintain networks with DoD, USSF, and intelligence agencies to ensure mission responsiveness.
• Lead executive-level strategic discussions on growth, markets, and competitive positioning.
• Negotiate teaming agreements and establish strategic partnerships to create major opportunities.
