Illumina seeks an Associate Director, Software Technical Product Management – Multiomics to lead the Multiomics software product management team and own the coherent product narrative across the portfolio. You will partner with Data Platforms & Multiomics engineering, BioInsight peers, Marketing, design, and field teams to translate strategy into shipped software outcomes that customers can feel.

You will hire and coach PMs, define group goals, sponsor multi-release roadmaps, and drive discovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (life sciences, bioinformatics, CS, engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Typically 12–15+ years of progressive product management experience with leadership.
• Experience shipping multiomics/genomics/spatial/single-cell life-sciences software.

Responsabilités

• Hire, coach, and develop software PMs across Multiomics areas (ICM, spatial, single-cell).
• Set group goals, cadence, and quality bar for PRDs and cross-functional working agreements.
• Own multi-release roadmap narrative with clear problem statements and success metrics.
• Partner with engineering leadership on priorities and customer outcomes.
• Drive customer and field discovery to identify friction and prioritize bets.
• Align with platform leaders for coherent portfolio foundation.
