Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation in Florida is seeking a Director of MRO Procurement to lead a $150M spend portfolio and oversee MRO materials management across US operations. You will drive sourcing, inventory planning, and supplier performance, collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance and Plant Operations to optimize spend and service.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Procurement, you will manage direct and indirect reports, develop saving strategies, and implement risk management,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of capital equipment, plant operations, or purchasing experience
• Proven success in large international companies
• Experience in contract negotiations, pricing analysis, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of packaging equipment procurement
• Understanding of MRP, inventory and warehouse management for MRO
• Experience with procurement/sourcing modules (SAP & Ariba)

Responsibilities

• Develops savings methods, monitors supplier performance, and shares results with stakeholders
• Implements global sources of supply aligned with business strategy
• Manages contract portfolio and new sourcing initiatives
• Oversees large construction procurement projects
• Collaborates with manufacturing facilities and maintenance teams
• Identifies maverick spend and optimization opportunities
• Develops procurement plans for projects
• Leverages volume across major spend items to maximize value
• Analyzes supplier performance against goals and objectives
• Leads negotiations on purchase agreements and vendor contracts
• Sets negotiating plans and negotiates key materials
• Develops risk management strategies
• Reports progress and escalates to ensure savings targets
• Manages MRO materials planning and inventory strategies and reports to Senior Management
