Job summary

The University of Minnesota Medical School seeks an accomplished movement disorders neurologist to serve as Director of the Division of Movement Disorders. The incoming leader will oversee a growing division with a strong clinical foundation, an NIH-supported research ecosystem, and an established Movement Disorders Fellowship.

Reporting to the Chair of Neurology, the Director will guide clinical care, education, and research while advancing neuromodulation therapies and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent and board certification (or eligibility) in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Movement Disorders or equivalent expertise.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Division of Movement Disorders within UMN Neurology with a focus on clinical excellence and translational research.
• Oversee neuromodulation, neuroscience programs, and NIH-funded laboratories.
• Foster collaboration across neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, rehabilitation, engineering, and industry partners.
