Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Director of Molecular Science Liaisons to lead a national MSL team that communicates the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to oncology physicians and scientists.

Position Summary

The Director - Molecular Science Liaisons will establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) who communicate the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and other interested parties), primarily through face-to-face discussions with oncology KOLs.

Job Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the MSL team.
• Recommend national staffing plans.
• Create and coordinate training/enablement so MSLs have up-to-date technology education.
• Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
• Serve as a conduit between the medical community and Caris for product/needs feedback to enhance patient care, research, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct medical/scientific education for the field organization.
• Present clinical data/educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (regionally or nationally).
• Attend POA/commercial pitch and other relationship onsite meetings.
• Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States.
• Support/present at molecular tumor board meetings.
• Read/understand scientific and technical literature for customer engagement.
• Support special projects; assist with speaker bureau training and serve as a field trainer.
• Deliver regional speaking engagements; attend tradeshows and sales meetings.
• Provide commercial input/review of marketing materials.

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial experience (pharmaceuticals/commercial lab).
• Field experience with customers and/or sales organization.
• Creative problem-solving; sound judgment.
