Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Molecular Science Liaisons to build and lead a national team of MSLs focused on communicating Caris Molecular Intelligence value to physicians and scientists. You will guide medical strategy, training, and field engagement across the U.S.

The role requires a Ph.D. or M.D. in a related bioscience and at least 3 years of management experience, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the MSL team; provide recommendations on national staffing plans.
• Create and coordinate training and enablement to keep MSLs current on company technology.
• Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
• Serve as a conduit between the medical community and Caris Life Sciences on products, needs, research developments, clinical trials, and therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct medical/scientific education to support field organization and increase presence/market awareness.
• Present clinical data and educational materials to physician sites and/or conferences (regionally or nationally).
• Attend POA/Commercial pitch meetings and onsite relationship development meetings.
• Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States.
• Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings.
• Read/understand scientific and technical literature for customer engagement; support special projects.
• Assist in training for contracted speakers (Speaker’s Bureau) and function as field trainer.
• Deliver regional speaking engagements and attend select regional/national tradeshows and sales meetings.
• Provide commercial input/review of marketing materials.

Position Summary

The Director - Molecular Science Liaisons will establish and lead a team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) responsible for communicating the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to external clients (physicians, scientists, and others), primarily through face-to-face discussions, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular/cellular biology (or equivalent training/experience).
• 3+ years of management experience.

• Experience in pharmaceuticals/commercial lab; field/customer/sales experience.
