Job summary

The Director, Molecular Genetics at Caris Life Sciences leads the Liquid Profiling Laboratory as Technical Director, guiding assay development, validation, and clinical reporting for oncology testing, including ctDNA and germline variants. Qualifications

• PhD in Genetics, Genomics or related field required.
• ABMGG certification or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years post-fellowship experience in a clinical genomics lab, oncology preferred.
• Strong understanding of molecular genetics, genomics and precision oncology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality, compliance, and clinical integrity of high‑complexity molecular testing.
• Lead development, validation, verification and monitoring of oncology assays.
• Interpret genomic data and prepare clinical reports for ordering physicians.
• Mentor staff and drive quality systems and accreditation activities.
• Collaborate with pathology, bioinformatics, and clinical operations teams.
