Job summary

Caris Life Sciences in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Reagent QC Specialist- Molecular to lead QC activities for all incoming reagents used in the Molecular laboratory, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving validation and troubleshooting.

You will mentor staff, support continuous improvement, manage documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize reagent quality and QC workflows, including GDP, lot tracking, and storage.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and 3–4 years in a regulated laboratory.
• Knowledge of lab safety, QC procedures, and regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, FDA, ISO).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general internet use.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and documentation of QC testing for incoming reagents.
• Ensure compliance with GDP and regulatory standards.
• Provide SME guidance on reagent QC and molecular workflows.
• Coordinate validation activities and troubleshooting.
• Maintain reagent storage and inventory control.
• Mentor and train QC staff; support training materials.
• Prepare and review QC documentation for quality partners.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Receiving, and Lab Operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation and standardization.
