Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Mobile Engineering Director to own mobile engineering across the four teams: Adult, Kids, Foundations, and Growth. You will lead managers, set architecture direction, and ensure cross-team coherence with Product and Design partners.

You’ll drive hiring, establish ADR governance, and shape AI strategy while building a strong product-engineering culture across the mobile org.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading mobile engineering orgs.
• Proven track record in architecture governance across multiple product lines.
• Able to delegate while maintaining accountability.
• Strong cross-functional communication with Product, Design and executives.
• Experience building hiring pipelines and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile delivery across iOS and Android for all four teams.
• Lead architecture governance and ADR processes end to end.
• Own hiring pipeline direction and staffing decisions.
• Shape AI adoption and tooling efficiency across mobile org.
• Foster a product-engineering culture across teams.
