Job summary

Kansas State University is seeking a Military Affiliated Resource Center Director to lead programs and services for the military-affiliated community, including veterans, service members, spouses, and dependents. The role will also serve as the Project Coordinator for the CEVSS grant through Fall 2026 and work toward the Spring 2027 transition to Executive Director of Military and Veteran Affairs.

Responsibilities

• 35% Student Services: connect military-affiliated students with campus resources, provide direct support, and organize 3-4 programs per semester.
• 35% Administrative: oversee MARC operations, create outreach materials, administer scholarships, and manage center budgets.
• 10% Supervision: hire/train/evaluate VA work-study students, GRAs, and volunteers, and monitor performance.
• 10% Events, Presentations, & Advising: plan events, advise Student Veteran Association, and present to recruit new students.
• 10% Collaboration/Committee Work: coordinate with Recruitment and Admissions to enhance recruitment of military-affiliated students.
