Job summary

EnerVenue, a Silicon Valley-based energy storage company, seeks a Product Management Director who owns the full metal-hydrogen storage portfolio from cell/vessel to BMS/EMS software. You translate utility and international customer needs into a prioritized roadmap, clear product requirements, and scalable designs.

This is a build-and-scale role that starts the product management function from the ground up, establishing the stage-gate NPI process, cost and margin models, and a competitive

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in product management or related field with leadership experience.
• Experience with energy storage systems, batteries or grid infrastructure products.
• Strong understanding of product economics, LCOS and pricing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the metal-hydrogen storage portfolio including cells, vessels, modules, racks, and BMS/EMS software.
• Segment market by application and geography; define target configuration and value proposition for each segment.
• Build and maintain business case: TAM, forecast, price, cost trajectory and margin.
• Align roadmap with gigawatt capacity plan; drive LCOS reduction and trade-offs on performance, cost, and time-to-market.
• Own stage-gate NPI process; set criteria, deliverables and go/no-go decisions.
• Own product configuration, variants and documentation baseline; govern engineering changes and warranty impact.
• Define pricing strategy, price books and discount governance; support large quotes and long-term contracts.
• Own product P&L; monitor volume, ASP, gross margin and warranty reserves.
