Job summary

Sunbit, Inc. is hiring a Director of Analytics for the Merchant Ecosystem in Los Angeles, hybrid from our Westwood office. You will lead a team of senior analysts and partner with Merchant and company leaders to drive data-driven decisioning across BNPL and merchant funnel metrics.

You will establish a governed self-serve analytics environment, own the certified metric layer, and guide AI-enabled analytics across product, credit, and engineering. Strong SQL and Python/R skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics or data science, including managing analysts.
• Expert SQL, plus working Python or R.
• Experience building self-service analytics with certified metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics self-serve and move teams to governed self-service.
• Own semantic layer and certified metric definitions in Snowflake.
• Implement analytics agents and guided AI-assisted analysis.
• Own BNPL application funnel and merchant lifecycle performance.
• Lead team and advise executives with 30–40% hands-on work.
