Position Summary

The Director, Merchandising leads the development and execution of comprehensive category strategies to drive business growth and profitability. This role oversees pricing, assortment, and channel strategies while managing supplier relationships and financial performance. The Director guides a high- performing team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer-centric decision-making across all channels. Utilizing data-driven insights, this position supports operational efficiency and innovation, fosters collaboration across functions, and champions continuous improvement to deliver exceptional results in a dynamic retail environment.

About the team

The Refrigerated Produce team leads strategic merchandising by utilizing data insights and trend analysis to enhance member experiences. Collaborating across functions, the team optimizes assortment planning, supply chain efficiency, and supplier partnerships. They anticipate market trends to develop innovative strategies that drive sales and operational excellence. Focused on continuous improvement, the team employs advanced analytics and clear communication to meet business objectives. Their proactive problem-s solving and cross-functional collaboration ensure high-quality product offerings and seamless execution aligned with Walmart’s commitment to value and member satisfaction.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.
