Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Mental Health Unit Director (Licensed Clinical Psychologist) for Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, IL. The role provides administrative oversight, coordinates clinical services, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality behavioral health in a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• IL Licensed Psychologist or independent mental health license required.
• Must maintain current TB documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility is preferred.
• Behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative guidance, direct supervision, and training to clinical and administrative staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical needs and ensure quality behavioral/mental health services in corrections.
• Develop and implement site level treatment schedules and participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Ensure adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
