Centurion seeks a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional at Dixon Correctional Center in Dixon, IL. The QMHP provides intake, assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning and therapy in a correctional setting.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field and active IL license (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LSW). Two years’ direct care in mental illness preferred; background check and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Active Independent mental health professional license Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW required
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Responsabilités

• Provide intake and assessments for patients in a correctional setting.
• Crisis intervention for patients in crisis.
• Treatment planning and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Case management and coordination of care.
• Individual and group therapy provided to patients.
