Responsibilities

Director, Medical Staff Services

Full-time, Exempt position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

Under the direction of the CEO and CMO, the Director oversees all activities of the Medical Staff, managing operational aspects including programs and procedures for medical staff functions. Responsible for maintaining regulatory standards, coordinating meetings, acting as liaison between administration and medical staff, and supervising Medical Staff personnel.

The Corona Regional Medical Center has a rich history dating back to 1965, evolving through mergers to a 238-bed community hospital network with over 1,250 healthcare workers and approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in Medical Staff Services required.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in Medical Staff Services; acute care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards, critical thinking, attention to detail, organization, and time management skills are essential.

Certifications/Licenses:

• CPMSM preferred.
• CPCS preferred.
