Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CSR) seeks a senior leader to guide the Center for Simulation and Research, collaborating with Operations, Research, and Education to advance simulation-based education and research.

The role oversees accreditation, staff development, budget planning, and strategic initiatives, and represents CSR in institutional activities; expect engagement in national forums and CHSE status pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Research, and Education to develop simulation-based courses and research.
• Coordinate day-to-day CSR operations, attend leadership meetings and sub-group sessions.
• Determine validity of outcomes measures and assist in tool development for simulations.
• Contribute to CSR annual budgets covering staffing, space, equipment, and supplies.
• Represent the CSR at institutional levels, address safety and accreditation needs.
• Co-lead monthly staff and annual strategy meetings; run Journal Review sessions.
• Engage in local, regional, and national forums; promote CHSE status for staff.
