Job summary

Sarepta Therapeutics seeks a Director, Medical Managed Care to lead payer communications for Duchenne and Sarepta products. This field-based role builds relationships with clinical decision makers and educates customers on value and outcomes.

The position requires deep scientific and health economics knowledge, 10+ years in pharma, and ability to travel >50%. Hybrid on-site in the US, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, compliance, and patient access.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MD/PhD/PharmD strongly preferred; MBA or health economics degree a plus.
• 10+ years related pharma/managed care experience; 3-5 years in industry roles.
• Strong scientific and health outcomes knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel >50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain relationships with key payer decision makers within payer and managed care.
• Educate payer and market access customers on disease and treatment.
• Prepare and deliver fair, balanced responses to scientific concerns of payer customers.
• Develop payer tools/dossiers to demonstrate value from a payer perspective.
• Participate in internal training and planning of national and regional opinion leader meetings.
• Attend scientific meetings for Medical Affairs support and provide customer insights.
