Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director of Medical Excellence, Electrophysiology, in Irvine, CA or Yokneam, Israel. This senior role leads scientific strategy, evidence generation, and medical communications across electrophysiology products and software-enabled solutions.

You will partner with R&D, Clinical Research, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure compliant, impactful medical evidence and physician education throughout product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years in healthcare industry in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Scientific Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, Quality, or related function.
• Therapeutic experience in cardiovascular domain is required.
• At least 3 years directly in Medical Affairs is required.
• Experience with device/tech in electrophysiology space is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to translate complex clinical data into strategic medical communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Affairs leadership for electrophysiology products, software-enabled technologies, and related clinical workflows across the product lifecycle.
• Shape integrated medical evidence with cross-functional teams for development, submissions, claims, and training.
• Lead medical review of clinical and real-world data to support publications, regulatory docs, and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to evidence-generation strategies for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies and post-market activities.
• Provide scientific input for trial concepts, design, data interpretation, and risk-benefit assessment.
• Collaborate across Clinical Research, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Commercial to prepare reports and evidence packages.
• Review and approve scientific, educational, promotional, and training materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Support publication planning and physician education by shaping messaging and materials.
