Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Medical Affairs, Electrophysiology, based in Irvine, CA. You will provide medical and scientific leadership for device development in arrhythmias and structural heart disease, working with R&D, regulatory and commercial teams to shape product strategy.

The role requires a deep background in Medical Affairs with cardiovascular experience, strong leadership, and global collaboration skills to drive evidence generation and product adoption across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine or Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent life sciences/technical engineering discipline is required.
• Advanced degree MD, PharmD or PhD in Medicine or related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in product development within the cardiovascular industry.

Responsibilities

• Influence regulatory and commercial strategy with R&D, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial teams.
• Lead clinical studies for regulatory purposes and physician-initiated studies, including training and data analysis.
• Support product launches with training, site activation, and feedback collection from clinicians.
