Job summary

WellSense Health Plan seeks a Director of Public Partnerships to lead contract management with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), shape Medicaid program strategy, and ensure compliance across the Health Plan, WellSense, and affiliated ACOs.

This role directs a team, drives end-to-end program requirements, coordinates with multiple departments, and represents the Health Plan in state negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in healthcare, health insurance, managed care, or government programs.
• 5+ years in director-level leadership and external stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key contact with EOHHS on contract management and escalations.
• Lead analysis and implementation of Medicaid program contracts and amendments.
• Oversee contract deliverables and end-to-end program requirements.
• Collaborate across departments to translate regulatory requirements into actionable solutions.
• Manage procurements and frequent program audits.
• Oversee Medicaid reporting and enforce corrective action plans when needed.
