Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Christianity Today (CT) is seeking a growth marketer for the role of Director, Media Marketing & Platform Growth. As a data-driven strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving audience growth and engagement across CT’s media platforms– especially YouTube, podcasts, and social media. Keeping a close connection with the Christian creator space, the Director will keep a pulse on platform data, emerging strategies, cultural trends, and the broader content environment. Collaborating closely with the Media and Editorial teams, this role will be a key member of the marketing team with a focus on growing audience awareness and engagement in order to drive increased customer acquisition across all of CT’s offerings.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Lead Multimedia Strategy and Execution: Develop and oversee CT’s podcast, video and social media strategy across the organization, aligning it with marketing objectives and exploring new platforms to increase audience awareness, engagement, and acquisition.
  • Grow CT Media Audiences: Partner with the CT Media team to expand the reach of podcasts and video content, defining priorities for content creation, strategic direction, and implementation of campaigns that drive awareness, audience growth and monetization opportunities.
  • Engage with the Christian Creator Space: Build relationships with Christian thought leaders and faith-adjacent content creators, monitor cultural trends, and leverage insights to inform strategies and partnerships.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Media, and Editorial teams to create cohesive messaging, test new ideas, and drive platform growth using data-driven insights.
  • Monitor Trends and Measure Impact: Stay ahead of technology, podcast growth and social media trends, evaluate performance metrics, and adapt strategies to ensure measurable, scalable results that align with organizational goals.
  • Continual Channel Optimization: Identify growth opportunities in communication platforms and use them as growth levers for continual testing and optimization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in multimedia marketing, social media strategy or related roles with proven success in audience growth.
  • Experience with podcasts and other multimedia platforms, driving marketing strategy, engagement and audience development .
  • Strong understanding of the Christian creator space, including influencers, cultural trends and audience development.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Previous experience as a growth hacker or in a growth marketing role is favored.
  • Experience managing influencer relationships is a plus.
