Job summary

United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County seeks a Director for the Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program to provide strategic, operational, fiscal, and data oversight for grant implementation. The role partners with internal teams and state liaisons to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s preferred.
• Eight to ten years of experience in human services or related field.
• Experience in program implementation and evaluation.
• Two+ years in public policy advocacy and grant writing.
• Strong relationship-building across nonprofit, public and private sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and improvement of the MIECHV program with budget oversight and data analysis.
• Ensure contract compliance, staff background checks, and performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and subcontractors.
• Coordinate quarterly program reviews and timely grant reporting to funders.
• Support ReadyKidSA collaboration and act as SME on maternal and infant wellness.
