Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent, or five years of relevant experience in purchasing/management/accounting preferred
• At least five years of progressive contemporary Materials Management experience preferred
• Proven management experience in hospital/healthcare environment preferred
• Participation in a professional purchasing organization such as AHRMM and/or NAPM preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead operation of the Materials Management Department, including Central Services (Sterile Processing and Distribution), OR Supply and Purchasing, processing and distribution of mail, Document Management, and Clinical Engineering (Biomed).
• Oversee finance, planning, development of goals/objectives, policies and procedures, compliance with laws/standards/regulations, quality management, education, information services, and group purchasing activities.
• Ensure goods and services are ordered and received in the correct amount, on time and at the correct price.
