What You'll Do
Corporate Communications
- Lead the organization's corporate communications strategy across multiple audiences and channels.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to develop thought leadership, executive messaging, and strategic communications.
- Manage national and regional public relations agencies to drive earned media opportunities and increase brand visibility.
- Oversee the development of press releases, media materials, executive communications, and messaging.
- Monitor media performance and communications effectiveness, making recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and execute corporate marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with external marketing agencies to develop brand positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies.
- Oversee integrated marketing initiatives across digital, social media, content marketing, events, and brand campaigns.
- Track marketing performance metrics and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing materials maintain consistent brand standards and messaging.
- Review and approve creative assets, presentations, collateral, and digital content.
- Maintain an organized library of branded marketing materials and templates.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic initiatives and marketing priorities.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets across multiple initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on branding, positioning, communications, and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing public relations and marketing agencies.
- Background in commercial real estate, investment management, financial services, private equity, or a related industry strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in brand strategy, corporate communications, public relations, and integrated marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling messaging.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on campaign performance.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build relationships across executive teams and business functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within infrastructure, technology, energy, industrial, or commercial real estate sectors.
- Experience supporting executive communications or thought leadership initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI tools and modern marketing technologies.
- Experience with social-first content creation and short-form video.
- Existing media or business relationships within the Washington, DC region are a plus.
