Job summary

Ethos Life is seeking a Director, Marketing Process & Technology to lead the Compliance team’s marketing review program. You will own the AI marketing review tool, drive automation, set standards, and manage an on-day-one review load, with plans to hire a compliance analyst as volume grows.

You will balance hands-on reviews with strategic oversight, ensuring rigorous disclosures, regulatory alignment, and safe, scalable marketing practices across paid media, email, web and partner content.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of compliance work in insurance marketing and advertising.
• Experience owning a high-volume marketing/advertising review function.
• Hands-on experience with AI or automation in compliance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI marketing review tool and drive automation.
• Define automation tiers and human-in-the-loop thresholds.
• Improve automated review quality and expand content categories.
• Own auditability of AI decisions for audits and exams.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams on integration and roadmap.
• Grow the share of reviews completed through automation.
• Design intake, SLAs, prioritization, and standards of record.
• Personally perform majority of reviews and document rationale.
• Maintain records and audit trails of submissions and approvals.
• Cover marketing content across paid media, lifecycle/email, web, and partner materials.
• Build and lead the function, including hiring and training.
