Macy’s is seeking a Director, Maintenance to oversee maintenance across its distribution network. You will lead executive and frontline teams, manage budgets, and drive preventive maintenance using CMMS and predictive practices.

The role requires collaboration with operations to optimize material handling and ensure safety and reliability. You will also evaluate asset readiness, lead capital projects, and coordinate with vendors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading executive and front-line maintenance teams.
• Strong background in mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing and controls.
• Budget planning and cost control in large facilities.
• Ability to implement CMMS and drive preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance teams across large distribution centers.
• Oversee mechanical systems, fire protection, electrical, plumbing and automation.
• Own departmental budget and deliver results with strong financial controls.
• Collaborate with operations to plan and execute supply chain strategies.
• Promote reliability, safety, and efficiency through standardized practices.
• Develop capital plans and manage third-party contractors for repairs.
