Qualifications

Summary

The Magnet Program Director is responsible for leading and managing the organization's Magnet Recognition Program, ensuring compliance with the standards set by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The role involves strategic planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives to achieve and maintain Magnet status, promoting excellence in nursing practice and patient care. This role also oversees nursing education team.

Responsibilities

Skill

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance to make improvements or take corrective action. Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs. Ability to establish goals and objectives. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.

Credentials
