Job Overview

As an RN Coordinator Magnet Program, you will influence patient care by building collaborative relationships with management, hospital councils, and national nursing initiatives. You will help shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and advance the future of nursing.

Responsibilities

The Coordinator Magnet Program® is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and overseeing the Magnet Recognition Program® and the Magnet designation/re‑designation process. The role works closely with leadership and staff to execute Magnet Recognition Program® initiatives. Responsibilities include submitting applications, interim monitoring reports, and Magnet documents (initial and re‑designation) in accordance with Magnet criteria; developing and implementing organizational strategies and infrastructure to support clinical quality, operational effectiveness, and shared leadership; and acting as liaison with all departments to promote nursing excellence and advance the Magnet philosophy.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or recognized Compact licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtain within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse.
