The Coordinator Magnet Program® is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and overseeing the Magnet Recognition Program® and the Magnet designation/re‑designation process. The role works closely with leadership and staff to execute Magnet Recognition Program® initiatives. Responsibilities include submitting applications, interim monitoring reports, and Magnet documents (initial and re‑designation) in accordance with Magnet criteria; developing and implementing organizational strategies and infrastructure to support clinical quality, operational effectiveness, and shared leadership; and acting as liaison with all departments to promote nursing excellence and advance the Magnet philosophy.
