Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will be CPA or bar-licensed and able to lead complex domestic and cross-border tax matters.
• Significant experience with private equity clients on M&A tax, due diligence, and post-acquisition planning.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and drive growth in a professional services setting.

Responsibilities

• Advise and influence substantial Private Equity client relationships to achieve functional objectives and strengthen relationships.
• Lead tax due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions, including risk identification and findings.
• Lead the tax analysis and negotiation of purchase agreements with legal counsel and client deal teams.
• Lead transaction tax structuring and quantitative tax modeling, evaluating alternative structures and impacts.
• Network to build relationships internally and externally to acquire new Private Equity clients and revenue.
• Collaborate with the Financial Due Diligence team and leverage Baker Tilly's platform to grow strategies.
