Job summary

GoDaddy seeks a Director of Corporate Development to lead end-to-end M&A initiatives from sourcing to close, reporting to the Head of Corporate Development. You will build investment theses, perform due diligence, model deals, present to executives, and guide post-merger integration to shape GoDaddy's growth strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience spanning investment banking and corporate development.
• Demonstrated track record of leading M&A transactions end-to-end.
• Strong strategic judgment across build-vs-buy, market entry and integration.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation, simplified for executives.
• Executive presence with cross-functional leadership across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end M&A process — sourcing, evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Shape and pressure-test the investment thesis behind potential transactions.
• Present investment recommendations to senior executives and defend assumptions.
• Drive cross-functional diligence across Finance, Legal, Tax, Strategy, Product, Partnerships, and leadership.
• Own financial modeling, valuation, and business-case development.
• Build and maintain relationships to develop a forward-looking deal pipeline.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Guide post-merger integration planning to realize value after close.
• Develop and refine playbooks for repeatable processes and best-in-class execution.
