Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and UW are seeking a Clinical Associate or Clinical Professor to lead the Lung Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Clinic and expand the advanced bronchoscopy program. The role emphasizes patient care in ambulatory settings with opportunities for research, teaching, and administrative leadership.

The candidate will oversee LCEDPC and Pulmonary Consult Clinic activities, perform cutting-edge bronchoscopic procedures, and collaborate across divisions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Completion of a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with ABIM eligible or certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (or foreign equivalent).
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Direct and expand the Lung Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Clinic (LCEDPC) and perform advanced bronchoscopic procedures.
• Expand LCEDPC volume and capabilities using novel software to identify and track pulmonary nodules.
• Perform navigational and robotic bronchoscopy including radial EBUS and routine bronchoscopies.
• Contribute to evaluation of patients in the Fred Hutch Pulmonary Consult Clinic and participate in PCCSM activities.
