Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in the care of patients with lung cancer. The role centers on directing the LCEDPC and performing advanced bronchoscopic procedures to diagnose and manage lung cancer.

The position includes teaching PCCSM Fellows, contributing to clinical research, and participating in administrative and translational projects at Fred Hutch's Seattle campuses.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required and board-eligible or -certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
• Experience with evaluation/management of pulmonary nodules and advanced bronchoscopic procedures.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Director of the Lung Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Clinic (LCEDPC).
• Perform advanced bronchoscopic procedures including navigational and robotic bronchoscopy with radial EBUS and diagnostic bronchoscopy.
• Expand LCEDPC volume and capabilities using novel software to identify and track pulmonary nodules.
• Contribute to the Fred Hutch Pulmonary Consult Clinic evaluation and to PCCSM division activities.
• Oversee PCCSM Fellows during outpatient rotation and deliver lectures at Fred Hutch conferences.
