Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle invites applications for the position of Professor, Clinician-Scholar, Lung Cancer Program Head. The role combines leadership of a premier lung cancer program with clinical and translational research responsibilities within the Clinical Research Division and UW collaboration.

The incumbent will set a strategic vision, recruit and mentor faculty, and oversee research initiatives spanning basic, translational, and clinical studies, while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Board certification (or foreign equivalent) in medical oncology, surgical oncology, or other relevant clinical specialty.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Head and lead the Lung Cancer Program with strategic vision and operational oversight.
• Oversee and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinical researchers and clinicians.
• Recruit faculty and promote professional development; represent the program at national/international forums.
• Balance clinical care (~30%) with protected time for research, teaching and program administration.
