Job summary

MITY Inc. is seeking a Director of Logistics and Warehouse to lead the end-to-end flow of materials and finished goods across our Utah manufacturing operations.

This role requires hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor and strategic management of inventory, inbound/outbound logistics, and freight performance. As a senior operations leader, you will design scalable processes, drive safety and accuracy, and partner with Production, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service to meet

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive responsibility in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain.
• Three+ years leading managers, supervisors, or a sizable warehouse team.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain, logistics, business, industrial engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable logistics and warehousing strategy with clear processes for receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping.
• Improve layout, slotting, storage, dock operations, and material flow to reduce delays and production disruptions.
• Lead cycle counting, reconciliation, audits, and corrective actions for inventory accuracy.
• Strengthen ERP/WMS usage, RF scanning, reporting, and automation with KPIs for accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Sales and Customer Service to align priorities and resolve issues.
