Starface World is reinventing the way we care for acne-prone skin as the first complexion brand to combine efficacy and optimism. We take skincare concerns that were once thought of as flaws and translate them into an opportunity for expression.
Starface World is a positively uplifting place where everyone is safe & accepted exactly as they are. We support causes and do our own work in the world to help build a better, more supportive universe. The same thinking applies to the way we care for skin: we don’t identify flaws or imperfections, we just nurture what’s there—it’s perfect because it’s all just skin.
Our team is a small (but growing) group of committed individuals who are passionate, empathetic, creative, and eager to learn. We are committed to a sustained focus on diversity, equity, anti-racism, and inclusion.
Starface is seeking a Director of Logistics & Operations to support the execution of our Operations strategy including transportation management oversight and execution, order fulfillment, and 3rd party DC relationship management for multi-region operations. You will be accountable to define the strategy for these critical aspects of Starface’s operation while acting as a working manager to route and fulfill all trade partner orders. You will also manage 3rd party Distribution Center (DC) relationships, ensure physical and systematic inventory integrity, and oversee at least one direct report who manages inbound transportation. Success in this role will come through the creation and implementation of strong foundational processes that support performance excellence and scale in multiple areas.
The right person for this role is adept at working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (finance, retail, marketing, planning, etc), and can effectively represent our Operations team in a professional manner with external partners including 3PL distribution center teams, retailers, distributors, freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, and suppliers. This person will also be comfortable managing a high level of complexity in a fast-paced environment and effective at flexing between a hands-on executional approach and a strategic lens.
At Starface, we’re caring, joyful, bold, and resilient. We love people who defy convention and welcome an attitude of exploration into the bold and creative in all that we do. If you are an operations and logistics professional with experience in the CPG space, and all of this resonates with you so far, please keep reading!

Why are you being asked to complete this form?
We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
