Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. seeks a Director of R&I Lip Formulation to lead a talented team in developing innovative lip makeup formulations and strategic platforms. You will guide cross-functional teams, applying a scientific approach to drive new testing, technology platforms, and consumer-focused outcomes.

You will build talent, anticipate market trends, and collaborate with senior leaders to align the organization with lip category strategies and global brand objectives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA and/or advanced scientific degree a plus.
• At minimum, 10 years of R&D formulation development experience; lip category experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in managing multiple projects, multiple team members and delivering programs in a dynamic environment.
• Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders and communicating information transparently to leaders in varying settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation team to develop lip makeup solutions and establish strategic platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities, ensuring stakeholders are involved and milestones are met.
• Build and develop talent and capability within the R&I Lip team.
• Apply a scientific approach to formulation and assessment, driving new technology platforms.
• Foster strong relationships with senior leaders across the company to support business goals.
