AltaMed in Southern California is seeking a Director of Licensing and Regulatory Approvals to lead the licensing team and ensure timely, compliant approvals across all required licenses.

The role oversees end-to-end licensing lifecycle, collaborates with business units, and communicates regulatory expectations to drive operational planning.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years licensing in healthcare, 10+ years in leadership, with CDPH license experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certificate required.
• 5+ years licensing experience in healthcare.
• 10+ years of people management experience preferred.
• Experience with CDPH Primary Care Clinic License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensing team and oversee all licensing activities.
• Manage life cycle of licensing: applications, renewals, modifications, terminations.
• Coordinate with departments and licensing officials to gather information and advise on impact.
