Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Senior Director, Provider Management to assess provider network needs, develop improvement strategies, and drive cross-functional initiatives with payors and regulators.

The role manages provider relations teams, leads high-profile contract negotiations, and oversees demographic and contractual changes to ensure top-tier client service. The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Management or Health Care Administration, a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 12

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Health Care Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of managed care network management contracting experience (HMO, PPO, Provider Networks, etc.) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess provider network needs and develop improvement strategies.
• Lead provider relations teams and contract negotiations.
• Oversee interdepartmental projects to gain operational efficiencies.
• Oversee processing of provider demographic and contractual changes and ensure exceptional customer service.
