Job summary

Brains Workgroup, Inc. in New York City seeks a Senior Solutions Architect Developer – Payment Systems (Director Level) to lead design and delivery of enterprise banking applications. Hybrid work with 2–3 days in the office; authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience with Angular and full-stack development in banking or financial services.
• Experience architecting mission-critical, high-volume, regulated systems.
• Knowledge of payment rails, clearing models, and settlement mechanisms.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 and financial messaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Angular web applications for banking customers.
• Build backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Java/Spring Boot, .NET, or Node.js.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to microservices architectures.
• Develop secure banking applications with SSO, OAuth2, OIDC, and encryption.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, and production releases.
