Job summary

Bronx District Attorney’s Office seeks a Director of Legal Recruitment & Retention to lead attorney and intern recruitment and retention programs. The role reports to the Chief of Legal Recruitment & Retention and shapes a data-driven talent strategy to build sustainable pipelines and a positive, inclusive work culture.

The ideal candidate will oversee recruitment operations, engage with law schools and external partners, and travel for outreach events, OCI programs, and job fairs as needed.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and four years of satisfactory community liaison, community organization or community relations experience, with at least two years in a broad administrative or policy-making capacity.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Bureau Operations: assist in advancing the bureau's vision, manage workflows and staff development.
• Attorney & Intern Recruitment Strategy: design and implement recruitment strategies for entry-level and lateral attorneys; manage pipelines and onboarding logistics.

Education

Baccalaureate degree

High school diploma or equivalent + 8 years experience
