Public Policy Holding Company (PPHC) in Washington, DC seeks a Director of Legal Operations to lead and coordinate legal services across the company. You will work with the AVP of Legal Services and the Chief Legal Officer, guiding M&A activity, contract management, personnel matters, and cross-functional operations.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with executives, external counsel, and operating companies, while maintaining the highest ethical standards and confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• 5–7+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Demonstrates strong learning agility and professional growth mindset.
• Willingness to own both strategic and day-to-day tasks to support growth.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software.
• Highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.

Aufgaben

• Support all phases of mergers and acquisitions; deal structuring, NDAs, due diligence, closing and post-closing processes.
• Manage transaction and due diligence documentation; utilize data rooms and coordinate requests.
• Support post-closing legal integration; update governance, contracts, and regulatory filings.
• Support outside counsel engagement on international M&A due diligence and transactions.
• Assist with administration of credit facilities; covenant tracking, reporting, lender communications, amendments.
• Support personnel matters across the employment lifecycle; onboarding, separations, contractor engagements, and restrictive covenants.
• Contribute to client contracts, vendor agreements, compliance, asset management, and dispute resolution.
• Perform other duties to achieve departmental goals.
