The Cigna Group seeks a Director, Legal Financial Operations to design and mature the financial operating model for the Legal organization. You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Risk Management to enable better forecasting and transparency across a complex enterprise.

This high-visibility role partners with Legal leadership and enterprise stakeholders to drive strategic decisions, governance, and scalable financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Legal Operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Legal Operations, legal finance, FP&A or related areas.
• Experience supporting a Legal department or legal spend management function is strongly desired.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Significant business/financial operations experience in a complex enterprise is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and annual financial planning processes for the Legal organization.
• Develop and deliver financial reporting, dashboards, and analytics for legal spend and performance.
• Partner with Legal leadership and enterprise stakeholders to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and support resource planning decisions.
• Establish financial governance to improve data accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
• Leverage ELM and e-billing technologies to support reporting and decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify and standardize processes.
• Support strategic Legal Operations initiatives and special projects as needed.
