Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director, DBS Leader – Lean in Richmond, IL. You will promote DBS deployment, lead Kaizen initiatives, and partner with leaders to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, and delivery.

This on-site role requires travel and deep DBS expertise to drive business results. You’ll collaborate with the global DBS Lean team and report to the Global Director of DBS Lean, contributing to the Danaher system of continuous improvement across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field; equivalent experience.
7+ years in Operations, Engineering, Lean, or related continuous improvement role.
Proven DBS/Lean Six Sigma/TPS experience in a structured environment.
Mastery of DBS Fundamentals with Lean tools across operations and transactional processes; certification preferred.
Ability to partner with business leaders and deliver measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

Serve as DBS SME for Richmond, IL site; drive sustained improvements and KPI impact.
Drive results across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost using DBS Fundamentals.
Develop and improve processes within Operations as part of the site leadership team.
Create and lead Kaizen Funnel and Certified Practitioner plan to close KPI gaps.
Facilitate Problem Solving Process teams and implement Visual & Daily Management at Gemba.
