Job summary

Midwestern University seeks a dynamic advancement professional to serve as Director of Leadership Giving, Annual Giving, Stewardship and Philanthropic Partnerships. This role reports to the Vice President for University Advancement and is responsible for executing revenue-generating philanthropic programs that strengthen donor engagement and expand participation across University stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in nonprofit management or related field.
• 7–10 years of leadership experience in advancement, fundraising, donor engagement, alumni relations, or related fields.
• Proven success in annual giving, leadership giving, stewardship, donor engagement, and multi-channel campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead leadership giving, annual giving, donor stewardship, and recognition programs.
• Develop and manage a year-round fundraising and engagement strategy, including Giving Day, Giving Tuesday, and year-end campaigns.
• Build and manage donor engagement pipelines and partnerships with corporate, foundation, and community donors.
• Collaborate with university leadership and faculty to advance fundraising priorities.
• Utilize data analytics and technology to improve fundraising performance and donor engagement.
