Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an Associate Director, Giving Days & Emerging Donor Strategies to oversee direct marketing programs that drive alumni donor participation, build lifetime loyalty, and maximize gifts to WashU's top Annual Fund priorities.

This role leads giving day campaigns and partners across university advancement to shape reunion, student philanthropy, and parent giving strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of nonprofit advancement or fundraising experience.
• Experience in donor relations, alumni engagement, or related communications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Giving Day programs: First Day, Giving Tuesday, WashU Giving Day with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead Reunion Giving strategy and annual appeal scheduling with advancement colleagues.
• Drive Student Philanthropy efforts in collaboration with Student Affairs and Alumni Engagement.
• Shape Parent Giving messaging and strategy in partnership with Communications and Student Affairs.
